EXTENDED LEARNING
Departmentalized
Our 6-8th grade students have the opportunity to work with different teachers through the departmentalization of various subjects taught at the middle school level. Science, religion, higher level math, and a variety electives courses are among the subjects departmentalized on our campus.
This departmentalization increases students' attentiveness and prepares them for their years in high school and beyond.

Encouraged to serve
From field trips to being in God's Word daily in class, our students are reminded of God's love and encouraged to see how their unique and varied gifts can be used to serve their Savior.
Uniquely gifted
Students use collaborative activities to help each of them achieve success, as we know success looks different for different students.

Our Teachers

Miss Jodi Gilbert
Miss Gilbert has called Mount Calvary home since she was a toddler, attending the school’s very first kindergarten class. After graduation from Carroll College in Waukesha, she began teaching at Mount Calvary in 1996. She is part of an active Mount Calvary family with both of her parents working for the school or serving on various boards and church council throughout the years.

After school, Miss Gilbert continues to use her gifts by leading the school’s Future City team which competes in an engineering challenge to design a futuristic city. She also directs the student Hand Chime Choir, participates in the adult Hand Bell Choir, and sings in Mount Calvary’s Adult Choir.
